and i am done with my verse too now so lemme know i can send and you can reply and let the outcome of the battle not decide the tourney coz technically you have already won it. but that does not mean you downplay your verse in the battle if you lose either.

My man, this literally has nothing to do with a win or a loss.
Let me give you a few of the reasons I'm not really fussed to battle you.
1.) You complained in several threads about no shows, only to no show this battle past the deadline for 5 days.
2.) You're not very good, in my opinion. I don't think the bars are worth it for the prizes, it's kind of a waste of my time, to be honest. I could be doing better things.
3.) I've been no-showed a metric fuckton, too. Just like you, and I'm a little sick of it. To the point that my motivation is literally nil.
4.) The scheme fucking sucks. If I reply, I'm replying with my own scheme of the same syllable count. Because I literally cannot believe someone would think the phrase "using your feet for clogging competitions" would ever arise in natural speech, for any reason. So, you'd win by default anyway, via DQ.
5.) I'm losing to God The Reptilian and I hate myself.

To be honest, I never really liked the idea of both parties using the same scheme in scheme battles. I'm more of a proponent of selecting a syllable count, and then letting the battler use that to craft their own scheme. It's much less restrictive, and shows the same degree of skill. I'm fine with using eleven syllables. I'll probably reply to this, but, I don't know that it's going to be prompt, or anything.

And that's the rationale for it, sure. But, I don't necessarily believe that that's true. Because often times, battles are not even. Even when using the same scheme as one another. I think, more so, it hinders the battlers, as often times, that scheme is selected by a third party. Which obstructs creativity.
Edit:
As an example, what if the third party selects a worse scheme than both parties, because of their own skill? That doesn't seem even anymore, it then becomes detrimental.
This was the first tournament I've ever ran, so get over it. I personally dont think it was too bad. Not my fault you cant scheme. Why'd you sign up anyway?...

whatever you meant was not really all that specific given you said i was making excuses while i have been the most co operative here, so yeah you should have been more clear with your approach while saying it.
either way this was tourney was the only life save in an otherwise dead site when it was initiated and Rai has my respect for that while Wretched has his own opinions about it which seem legit to a certain extent at the end of the day i think it's my fault as far as the final's are concerned coz i didn't check this thread too. thus i am fine with whatever Wretch and Rai are comfortable with.
