Ok, so the main sign up thread

has gotten like 150 views and has 6 sign ups so I'd say it's safe to say that's the sign ups were gonna get. I also didn't want to drag sign ups on for like a week so we've got our 6 guys and we're gonna kick off the season.
I know I said with 6 guys I'd only run a finals with the top 2 guys, but I do want to see some playoff matchups so I am still going to run a final four. So, to qualify for the playoffs, you need to finish the season as seed 1, 2, 3, or 4. Tiebreakers in record go to head to head. In the playoffs, 1 will play 4 and 2 will play 3. To reward 1 and 2 for finishing higher in the standings, they will RECEIVE in the playoffs. That is for example, if 4 needs to send to 1 by the 22nd of the month, 1 gets to reply by the 23rd. This also translates into the finals. No reseeding.
IMPORTANT: For the regular season, there will be no designated sender or receiver. Both dudes have a 3 day deadline. Whoever finishes writing first sends to the other guy, and then POSTS THE LINK TO THAT BATTLE SHOWING THEY'VE SENT IN THIS THREAD, AND TAGS THE OPPONENT.
Deadlines and DQs:
If battler A sends a battle and battler B fails to reply by the deadline, battler A gets a W and battler B gets an L.
If BOTH battler A and B fail to post for their battle, they will both receive L's.
Extensions are permitted. For an extension, both parties involved in the battle must post in this thread before the deadline confirming they'd like an extension. Extensions give you an extra 24 hrs from the original deadline.
Awards: Again, right now I'm looking at like 100 credits for the winner, 30 to the runner up, and say 10 to the verse of the week each week. Hoping to get a Mod to spice things up, but the awards won't be anything WORSE than what's posted here.
