I don't have any gangster graphics or anything but I had an idea for a Forum run event. This one is a bit more involved than a regular tournament style event, but I think it can be really interesting.
PREMISE AND RULES: What I want to do is take 6-8 participants and run a "season". Everyone would battle eachother 1 time and accumulate a record over the season. For instance, in an 8 person season, you would battle the other 7 participants once each and then at the end we'd have a final ranking based on the records. In the event of an 8 person league I'd probably try to run 5 day "game weeks" with 2 days of prep and 3 days of voting so that the event is just over a month long, like a traditional LB tournament. There of course would be a final/playoff, which would consist of a "final four" in an 8 person league but I would just skip straight to the final in a 6 person league with the 2 top dudes squaring off. Battles would be 8 lines and all that jazz, missed deadline = L for that week, standard rules. In the event of a tie in the standings, tiebreaker goes to head to head winner.
RATIONALE: I think this has the potential to produce some really interesting battles, especially closer to the end when people are jockeying for the playoff positions. Since everyone plays everyone once, there's no issue with some people having tougher match ups etc. Essentially, it's going to all boil down to if you're down to drop an 8 line battle once every week or so.
AWARDS: Right now, I'd like to set the rewards at 30 Credits for the runner up and 80 Credits for the winner. And maybe if there's a dope graphics person, they can make them a little "PYW Champion" or w/e for their signature or something. Depending how active and stuff the event is, I may also pick a verse of the week each week and spot that dude 10 credits or something, similar to a player of the week. These are credits from my account, but I'll see if there's some mod that would want to help out with the prizes.
