Ink blotched skies gawking as I grin
Talking to the wind, bullet to my leg so I'm walking with a stick
Thoughts are just as grim, with a pounding breath,
the sound is dead
It's hard to hold my head up with this albatross around my neck
Clouds are stressed, smoke curling up like genies in a bottle
The whole heavens in a bright glow could read me like a novel
Believe I'm an apostle, but I believe I'm surrounded by the demons in the gospels
Feelings of a sorrow tale, it's the times I would have died for you
Ignite the fumes with the violent fuel
The tears of the clouds disguise my mood, I wish I could wipe those too
But the stench of the bodies around me gives me a wicked smile
Rewind a few days, i was living a simple life, six kids and a busy wife
Declaration of war, I had to rip it a million times, it is a vicious trial
Leading me to every threat, breathing with a heavy breath
But this is for the people who have bled to death, I see em on the heavens steps
