so a video came out post-rematch and Cassidys with his peoples all gassin it like he won the battle... & i'd have to agree..but sadly, those were some of the worst bars I ever heard in my life and it was cringe worthy how repetitive his lines were and how basic his rhymes were

I think the smaller crowd helped relax him or w/e & he had the presence/calmness part down pat compared to Dizaster...definitely felt like Cassidy controlled the crowd but at the same time he had more ppl with him

Cass won the first and last round..... The whole impression of diss... double dog triple dog dare you... thought it was a decent battle just over hyped.. Cass is rusty and its his first battle in ages and he did well for his first one back. His second will be better. He didn't forget his lines, and tbh he did better than any "recognized" artist has done. Bars were subpar from both.. but both had a couple haymakers too.

Word. I honestly think that shit could have been staged.. idk... Cass's whole demeanor was different the second time around lol.... Even Diss wasn't going hard in the first match... something was fishy from the jump. Either that or nerves... hard to tell.

It's hard for me to give Cass* that last round with that stupid barber shop shit. I thought his best material was when he wasn't using cookie cutter punches and was actually clowning Diz.

Cass got the stage presence and crowd control Diz shoulda had with all his years of experience it was crazy and I was really impressed with that aspect of his verses.

Yeah some of his shit was played but after what Canibus and Budden brought you gotta give the man his due. He broke the trend/stopped the bleeding.

I'm not even judging it by rounds. All in all Cass was just better and deserves the win imo.

I'd gladly watch him battle again. He just has a way of making you pay attention and listen to what he's saying.

He got charisma out the ass. If he can just vary his flow and drop more consistently he could be a problem (pun intended)

They also need to ditch the stage and crowd shit and go back to how they were forced to hold the rematch. small intimate venues. it's sooooooooo much more involved and engaging.

Saying it was staged to suit cass by getting him off the stage and into a closed doors re match is the biggest bullshit nonsense.

Both of them sucked on stage. Diz has had more close quarters battles on Cam than Cass and Cass has been on stage a million times more than Diz. That idea makes no sense.

The fact is, like with all staged venues (Looking at you SMACK) The crowds are garbage full of ignorant crowds.

They never if very rarely work out.

When you break each down, I don't really see how you can have Cassidy taking this, unless of course you don't care about bars and rather let personality and history take place of it, which is totally understandable.

i think thats why he won this. he kept his composure and had the crowd throughout. i def think Cassidy had more ppl with him than Diz though...so that helped him a lot... Diz definitely had the better bars, but Cass hit em with a lot of baby jabs that actually meant shit whereas Dizaster makes sense but he uses too many multis to get to the point...sometimes the scheme shit works but look how easily Cassidy flipped it on em..

Diz got it lyrically but Cassidy got it in just about every other category, so overall Cassidy got it.
