But Dipset was the best rap group for a decade..1999-2009... 2000-2010... or 2001-2011..however you wanna divide those 10 years up.

Juelz Santana had potential to be better than Jay-Z lyrically. Shit, Juelz > Jay-Z IMO... I prefer that vintage street shit over fake hustin stories

Cam'ron had bars since he rolled with Big L...everybody needed to have bars back then... Jim Jones was sayin some shit

even the lesser known dudes like JR Writer fuckin killed shit on the mixtape scene...his style needed a lot more polishing and his versatility needed to go up for that mainstream success but dude had bars

something else you'll disagree with

Fabolous > Jay-Z

ii fucked with the dips pretty hard.... but none of them are better then Jay-Z.. as far a he had a ton of potential at first but like alot of them dudes fell off without Cam... I was more into JR Writer Hell Rell and Tom Gist with Agallah producing

You're right, AZ is better than Dipset. Dude was actually considering joining Dipset at one point too

But Juelz was pretty poppin in the early-mid 2000's...the entire movement was..

Cam'Ron was hit or miss back then...always on his clown shit..at least in that era..in the mid-late 90's Cam was snappin lyrically... Juelz has kept a pretty good level of consistency and even put out some bangers that still had pretty solid lyrics...& JR Writer's shits went hard...his Writers Block joints...I have Writers Block 3 on a CD in my whip

ya'll also gotta remember that at one point Juelz/Fab or Juelz/Wayne was the fuckin team...Wayne & Juelz were bodyin all the poppin tracks for a few years & Fab would get his feet wet too

I'll take Fabolous over Juelz but I'll take both over Hov. Hov aint fuckin with Fab imo...

Jay hasn't tried to rap well in over a decade.

Yeah jay hasn't rapped since the Black Album def a Legend imo, Reasonable Doubt & The Blueprint already put him up wit BIG...Fab's nice tho.. Fab puts dope lyrics/swag into mainstream songs.. He stays fresh/

I fucks wit Killa, Juelz, & Hell Rell... Killa's prolly the best if you consider his days with Big L & Children Of The Corn when he rapped with his cousin Bloodshed & Ma$e.. COC had mad potential..

I thought Big L's DITC (Diggin In Tha Crates) was a dope underground group too...
