I aint played a Basketball sim in a minute until I got 11 recently. I'm loving my player on 12 min quarters.

But I'm debating on whether to get 13 or 14.

Help a brother out!

Not bothered about online. I'm just after a quality single player game.

Why not get 14? Lol. It's the newest one and you can actually block dunks unlike 13.

Not every new addition to a franchise automatically means it's better. Company's can lose their way over time. Thats what I'm trying to find out from an experienced 2k/NBA head/fan
If Nba 1k 1908 has better game play I'll buy that lol.

2k isnt losing their head anytime soon. They are the only nba video game franchise since '09 and now Live is coming back this year.... So 2k14 should be your best bet.

And the reason I'm so hesitant is because I just recently got stung with Fifa 14. I payed like £50 for it. Got home, played it for 30 minutes and put it straight back in the box.

I wish 2k would make a footy/soccer sim. They really know how to bring a sport to life. But thats getting off topic.

Na I haven't played 14 yet...im just saying its only a yr old.. pretty much same as 14 at a lower price from what ive been hearing

Either 13 or 14.. 14 is just a bit more updated.. Nothing really new except lebrons legend mode or whatever it's called.. Can't believe i waited for that game and the shit still looks the same. Like MyCareer mode.. Same endorsements so far, same rookie showcase when it starts off like c'mon. MyCareer has been pretty big. That's all I wanted it for anyway. So either way, you won't really be missing out on anything..

all 2k's get better over time.. everything gets better from what i heard.. its better than most other mainstream, games like shooters an shit.. COD is all repetitive and generic.. 2k's actually TRY and improve shit.. even the lil shit like the lighting of sweat coming down their forehead or in rl when someone is injured it's updated on the boards that he's out for part of the season

2k11 was the last great 2k game

I'm hearin from a lot of people that copped 2k14..they all took an L....tellin me its the same bullshit as 2k13 except now you can block dunks

but I'm hearin about a lot of shit still bein broken..like how did major shit not get fixed yet? turboing into people to push em out of bounds...the backcourt glitch...etc etc

I'm not sayin NBA Live is gonna be any better. but I'm glad NBA Live is comin out. these niggas actually have to compete rather than putting out w/e because we'll suck it up anyway

Why wouldn't you want updated rosters tbh? Lmao.. Teams are dirty this year, another reason to get 2k14. Don't hear the hype, it's a better game.

you can update your rosters online at anytime Obey. but 2k13 was soooooo annoying because the CPU would ALWAYS out re-bound ANYONE and get like 5 offensive rebounds in a row. defense is a joke in 2k13

& that's why there lazy because they have no competition. You can get 2k13 on Xbox/Ps3 but if your getting the new gen console ps4/xbox1, get 2k14.. Look up the trailer, its legit.

well i went out and got 14.

got an A- in the rookie showcase n got 1st round 20th pick for the Bulls (Athletic PG) in the draft.

played 1 reg season game so far away to The Heat of all teams n got raped

Loving everything about it so far.

only thing i dont like is VC and constantly relying on 2ks servers working to play the game....Offline?...

Yea if your playing the online mycareer.. it gives you the vc but if your internet is off, you won't be able to do anything with it.. That's why i play offline & just get the sp.. Online's not bad though. If you have a nba2k account it updates as if your player is real..
