I got over 50 people to drop their verses in the first round of my tournament. But you know, good choice LB :D (Bitter mofo!)

Unless it's an official tournament, nobody wants to do topicals nowadays.

Fuck LB's schedule. Do the shit freelance. The topical section should be run away from their shit. Offer sigs or something as prizes instead of the user title if the guys aren't willing to help out.

Run an official tournament in a month. 32 man. Spam EVERYONE to join it. Spend as much time as you can talking to the guys on chat. I don't know if you remember but I got at everyone EVERY time they came on about when they planned on dropping. I explained what was required to anyone that needed it etc. Put up mags as well for each round. People will love the extra involvement that they don't get elsewhere.

Then, put focus onto the rankings. Reset them now, and put tournament wins in there. Then, make sure people know about them. Tell them "+1 to your record" when they win a tourney battle, and they will be aware of it. Keep people battling for like two months in it. Spam people all the time to get a battle together if need be. Then, run a creative tournament. Battle Royale, Tag Team. Something like that. Get people acknowledging your creativity and the constant pressure you're putting on people to take notice.
