The Hall Of Fame

Welcome to the Letsbeef.com Hall Of Fame.

This is a section of the site where we honour those who have made a lasting impact on the site due to their skills, victories and contributions. The Hall Of Fame is split into four sections: Text Battling (This encompasses the elite of the sites Text and Topical battlers), Audio Battling (The foremost names in acapella and beat battles), Track Makers (This covers emcees who have shared there music with the site, and have become acclaimed for it) & Crews (To honour the best, most achieving crews who have dominated one time period or another.)

The site's Hall Of Fame section also boasts a statistics and articles section, which displays such things as the sites best battles and cyphers, stats like most championship victories, and articles detailing the sites best rivalries and people top 15 lists for the sites different elements.

How Does Someone Get Inducted?

The system for induction is a fairly simple yet effective one. Firstly someone other than the nominee in question must create a nomination poll in the forum of the relevant section. Here for Audio Battling (http://www.letsbeef.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=494), Here for Text Battling (http://www.letsbeef.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=495), Here for Crews (http://www.letsbeef.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=496) & Here for Track Makers (http://www.letsbeef.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=497). Within these forums is a list of the people who have already had their nominations confirmed or denied, so please consult these list before making any nominations of your own.

IF you would like to nominate someone for the Hall Of Fame, you MUST make sure your nomination threads has the following:

The thread title MUST be: Nomination: Username
The thread MUST have a poll which allows for voters to be public
The poll MUST have the clear options of: HOF Yes? & HOF No?

The Hall Of Fame nomination polls are NOT a method for certain induction. The polls are used to gauge the sites feelings towards the nominee, and someone can easily score a 50-0 poll tally and still be rejected for induction. The poll is however a useful tool to see the general feelings of the sites members, and things such as crew/buddy voting as well as hate voting is clearly discernible due to the polls public nature.

Once a poll has reached a high number of votes either way, the Head of the Hall Of Fame: RULE (http://www.letsbeef.com/forums/member.php?u=859014), will then seek out the opinions of the sites most respected members before making a final verdict on whether or not the nominee in question has been successful.

What Happens When Someone Is Inducted?

That person will receive an induction thread in the relevant Hall Of Fame category. The thread will be an honorific of there letsbeef career, and the sites members are all welcome to add there own "tribute" to the page.

An inductee will also recieve the custom usertitle: Hall Of Famer along with a new profile award to signify their ascension. Any Hall Of Famer with a significant multi account(s) will also get these titles on their other accounts.

The inductee will also receive free lifetime exclusive membership to the site, again this extends to any noteworthy multi account.

In the highly rare but someday possible scenerio that someone is able to achieve Hall Of Fame status in more than one area of the site, they will recieve a unique usertitle, possibly: Grand Hall Of Famer or 2x Hall Of Famer.

Can Somone Be De-Hall Of Famed?

Any Hall Of Famer found to of committed any major act of cheating or major site offences can and will be stripped of there HOF status. Hall Of Famers are NOT over the rules of the site, and however unlikely as it may be, will be treated thusly should a major offence be revealed.

Hopefully this thread covers any questions about the Hall Of Fame and its statistics section.
