I couldn't get into the Adult Swim shit. The whole charm of the film doesn't come from the script so much as the way it's DELIVERED. awkward stares, side glances, pauses. Boom mics falling. Shitty editing ect. the hammy acting. Michael Jai White absolutely kills it as a real living character. Just using his voice, The anime can't pull it off anywhere near like the film did.

The anime is mad disappointing after seeing the film, which is so epicly funny.

I first seen this film last year. Cousin brought me around to one of his friends house, small group of people sitting in the living room & this was on the TV. I knew no body there so i just kept rolling an smoking watching the film....middle of no where (everyone doing there own thing, talk among themselves) I BURST out into laughter at the film forgetting where i even was cos i was so blazed haha. That then started a chain reaction of laughter that went on for about half an hour.
