Honestly i would like to see the new members work up to being able to battle the emcees who have been here for a while.

Something like having there own bracket and when the reach a specific win/lose ratio, battle amount, points, or even a time frame. Or you can make use of the unranked section and use it for the newbies. once they have met these requirements then they can move over to ranked and be able to battle the rest of the emcees.

THOUGHTS???

People can do that, any time they want. The problem is directing them to the forums so they can socialise as a community. That goes for everyone. Do this and the matches will naturally come about.

Mods have really got to start answering these things and putting some of the suggestions into practice otherwise the exercise seems like a front.

exactly.... something gotta happen... i understand that mods and admins are busy and shit... and most arent getting paid to do their jobs they do it cause they enjoy the site and they enjoy doing this music thang, but i enjoy it to. i want this site to get better, i mean it has got better some since i started here couple years ago (STRANGE1) but i mean there is a whole lot more that could be done..... maybe they should make it when you first sign up you are directed to certain threads that you have to read and comment on and that will give you like 3 credits for doing so..... they would have to fix it so you cant be going on there and making comments and just getting credits, like a time limit or somthing.... or they could make it to where they have to read and acknowledge the rules before you can continue....... cause the noobies need to know how this shit works before they just get let lose and fuck shit up for emcees that have been here...... Yeah. Some mods are busy. Some don't do shit. More do next to nothing. But I digress. I suggested exactly what you did minus the credits part in the staff lounge so that as soon as you sign up you get a message pop up of the sites rules. Which you have to click to continue. This way there are no more warnings for infractions as they had already been warned in the PM so it's there own tough luck if they didn't read them. Thus freeing staff time. I also suggested making the Forums the home page as well as trimming them down to make them easier to navigate and more user friendly to help build a bigger community. Neither got put into practice.

You want a word of advice. Just do you and do your own part to help make the site better because you're just wasting your time with these suggestions.

i feel you on that Just C. Well we need to do some mod cleaning if thats the case... cause i like this site... i would like to see it go way past its potential and see it turn in to something better then anyone expected.... hence the suggestions... shit im a persistent asshole i will start posting links on my threads to pages and shit.... i know there are alot of people who feel the same way, they just dont know what to do about it...... im definitely not gonna be giving up on it.... ima be as active as i can this month to try and grab a spot in the GC audio tourney and hopefully i get a spot on the FVC, but im prolly not gonna battle for a while. i need to focus on beats and recording, been slacking, but ima be on here for FVC and to try my best and help progress this shit....:high: keep doin what you do homie
