Interesting battle. Illo, I didn't feel you for the first third of your verse or so, but then you really picked things up. You went from being messy to solid and creative. By the end of your verse, you were firing off. Overall, I felt you like were kind of burned out after taking on Grizz - this was nowhere near your previous performances. Also, you used a da-feet concept. Obey, you've just been getting better and better throughout the tourney. Your concept ability is great, and your complexity is just getting better. However, you slanted quite a bit, and some of your multies, though rhyming, read a bit awkwardly to me. One got this for me with a slightly better verse overall... Mid 7 - High 6. Voted: Yes (Hidden)

This was pretty close and it came down to personal preference. My loser had alot of content, and i mean A LOT. His schemes kept fucking me up though with the inter bar rhyme schemes. Nice battle. Felt my loser started off a little slow then picked it up towards the middle. Punches were decent enough. Felt this was close. Was a bit underwhelmed by one here. Some iffy multis on both sides. I felt that one had too many played name flips which hurt the verse while the other was a bit too stretched at parts which hurt the flow. Both had great use of relevancy. felt one had a few lines that stuck out more than his opponents due to a slightly advanced structural set up with the hits. One stayed more consistant with creativity while both seemed pretty close in delivery, a line or two could have been worded more proper than it was to increase the impact of the hit. all in all, it was a fairly close match up, for the reasons stated above i got a winner. This was really, really close. I scored the battle on a line by line basis. Mine will be the last vote cause I'm about to close this round so I'ma just be direct cause it couldn't possibly sway any voters to come. Illo, you had a lot of really good wordplay, but it almost seemed as if the wordplay were an end in and of themselves rather than a means to an end (which is the punch) at times. They often didn't have enough reference and backing for my liking to situate them within the bar. I don't know if it's you attempting the short-bar style or what, but you usually maintain more relevance throughout your lines than you did here. Obey, you maintained more relevance, but your wording at times was less than great. It also needed more variety as far as how you set up the lines. A lot of them started with "you..." and then you telling him about what he's doing directly. Pretend like this is a live battle and address the crowd sometimes and form your disses saying "he.." or "this dude" and address in second person perspective just to switch it up and add a slightly different angle to the attack.
