Expos: We both pulled upsets and busted the brackets like March Madness, gato is spanish for cat, raining on someone's parade means disappointing or saddening them but I'm implying he's at a gay pride parade. Aztec dances involve stopping rain, Manhattan thing was a middle eastern joke, he and Jack talk about complex math concepts a lot, DiCaprio hasn't won an Oscar, a Dagwood sandwich is a huge sandwich with multiple layers of bread, and the Dallas Mavericks lost to the Spurs. Nice drop Rohaan, good luck. Posted on: 2014-05-24 22:20:41 Private Message Wonderbred

Fairly dissappointed with this spar all together because of how both contestants strayed from the given multi so much, so all I'll say on that front is: This is a scheme tournament, so rhyming based upon the scheme given should be the most fundamental portion of your verse. Now, since both did it, you can't really give one an edge for it. So I'm going to simply rate this based on who's verse was better conceptually/flow wise. Rohaan, I believe that your set-ups outshine your punches. You definitely have the ability to formulate conceptual punchlines, though the execution is far off from desired point in contrast to the set-ups. I also think that you had some very basic concepts in this verse also, which is odd considering how above par your previous verse was. Wonder: Tbh I think you simply pushed the envelope with how drastically slanted you got from the multi. It's like you strayed from the multi, then strayed from that strayed multi. Conceptually? You had some shining moments, if the multi wasn't so strayed, I'd have thought that trans men pageants" bar to be a game-changer. But, even with that aspect, it's still a shining bar in my opinion. I also think that smashed manhattan bar was nuts. But where your shining bars stood out some of the others were very basic, such as the opening bar and ending bar. So to be honest? This was a mid-mid battle, both did okay conceptually, both came with some nice fluidity and creativity, and both had nice verses. I think that one's concepts stood out to me more, and seemed to be more impactful in opposition to his opponents. Cry's out. (Starting to vote like a dick now to be more real, no actual hate intended.) Voted: Yes (Hidden)
