Jim Jackson was doing dirt without anyone knowing, makin' moves under radars, he had everyone going.  A respected politician, he was a boss in the game, coppin' free hotel suites just by flossin' his name.  He stacked crazy loot with ease, big business on lock, only one image in his mind... A clenched fist with some guap.  He'd be seen at charity events, rubbing elbows with priests, but if his fellows got in his way, he'd have his fellows deceased.  When he wanted somebody dead, he'd always go through with it, though every time his conscience would speak... "Don't do it, kid."  He was golden 'til he came across a swag-jackin' rat, a high profile judge with his name in the hat.  See, dude was running against Jim for the senator spot, he thought, "if I don't expose him, Jim'll never get caught.  It wasn't too long before Jim was smellin' a snitch...  He told his goons, "make it look like he fell in a ditch."  They didn't like it, Jim was angry at how bitch his crew got, They said c'mon he's a federal judge, man this shit is too hot. He shouted, "what am I payin' you pricks for?  Go to it!"  Despite the fact that his conscience said again... "Don't do it."
****He used to campaign against alcohol and sip Henny at night----He used to fuck dimes with no suspicion from Jenny, his wife----Now he's almost caught up, 'bout to see plenty of strife----Now he's losing his damn mind looking at twenty to life****  Six days later he became a fugitive, known worldwide, he thought, "if I go to prison... shit, I won't survive."   A thought never crossed his mind like, "Why'd we murder this one?"  He just remained focused, and he purchased a gun.  Sportin' Raybans and a wig, trying quick to grow a beard, paying for rooms with 10 stacks like, "don't let no one know I'm here."  When it came to crazy twisted thoughts, he was thinkin' many, and from the hotel liquor cabinet, he was drinkin' heavy.  He tooted his whole stash of coke, he was plenty high, when he decided to find his friend from the F.B.I.  Outside the highrise he thought, "dude can't help me... i'll get jumped on the spot,"  while he stumbled, he didn't realize his arm had bumped the wrong cop.  The officer had recognized Jim, despite his disguise... Jim bolted when the cop got that glint of light in his eyes.  As the voice came through the loudspeaker "Whatcha try'na run for?"  He grabbed a girl from the crowd, then approached the front doors.  At this point he was so frantic, completely delirious, He screamed, "I'll wax this little cunt!" so they'd know he was serious.  He yanked her hair to lift her chin, and put the chrome to it... the officer and Jim's conscience both shouted... "Don't do it!"
****He used to sit among kings while his visions unfurled----He used to crush every day, donning women with pearls----Now the shame drags him toward hell, he's not fit for this world----Now his gun's pressed against the face of an innocent girl****  Jim found some cover in the crowd's mad commotion, a few seconds to think, and put his plan in motion.  He burst into the building, straight sparkin' his nine, then he hustled to the stairs and he started to climb.  When he made it to the top of 30 tiring flights, that was the time he fully realized he was tired of life.  Around the corner he was met by two gaurds with two shotties, but they didn't react... on the floor fell two bodies.  Gun to his own head... pulled the trigger... all he heard was a *click*... He thought, "fuck! I'd have one left if I hadn't murdered that chick!"  He trudged over to a window, stood and looked down, truly nervous for the first time in life, his body shook now.  His mind had become a prison... but he would bust out at last... he swung his empty pistol swiftly to bust out the glass.  He stepped forward out onto the dangerous ledge, where most would be frightened, he felt free on its edge.  He and his soul were uncertain, but I think they both knew it, while it seemed like the whole world was yelling... "Don't do it!"  
****He used to snap his fingers to squash giants... Had all the power----He used to be the man that they all loved...  Man of the hour----Now he's hopeless and seen only as "that man on the tower"----Now he's leaving a legacy that's smashed and deflowered**** 'Cause he still believes "don't do it" were the words of a coward
