FORUM RULES

Welcome to the FVC forums!
Feel free to make use of our forums to get fair votes and ratings on your battles, cyphers, tracks, and topicals. Here are a few basic rules you are expected to adhere to. I'll basically list them in a "Do and Don't" format. If you have any questions concerning these rules, please feel free to ask me by private message.
DON'Ts

<li><b>DO NOT free-post</b></li>
Do not create any threads in the FVC forums if you are not a mod or FVC member. If you do, they will be deleted. Also, do not post anything in FVC member threads if it is not related to a battle which you would like to receive votes.
<li><b>DO NOT harass FVC members</b></li>
Do not hate vote or harass any FVC member because of a fair rating you have received. If you do, I will come after you. Any and all complaints about an FVC vote should be forwarded to the FVC mod (@NOBLE).
<li><b>DO NOT post broken links</b></li>
Requests for votes will be honored only if they come in the forms of valid links. Do not make a request by making a statement such as "Check out my latest" unless it is accompanied by a link to the battle you would like a rate on. Check your links after you have posted a request to make sure they work. If the link does not work, an FVC member is not obligated to vote on the battle and the post may be deleted.
<li><b>DO NOT post in the wrong section</b></li>
If you post a voting request for an audio battle in a thread in the "FVC Text" section, that member is not obligated to check out your material and your post may be deleted if they choose not to do so. Post requests for votes on audio material in "FVC Audio" and post requests for votes on text material in "FVC Text."

<li><b>DO read the initial posts and follow the instructions</b></li>
Please read and follow the format of whichever FVC member thread you are posting in. Sometimes FVC members may have their own specific instructions like "Do not post more than two links at a time." If you're not following the instructions, you may not receive votes.
<li><b>DO mention the FVC member's name in your request</b></li>
Mention the FVC member's name to alert them to your post. For example, if you are posting a request in NOBLE's voting thread, be sure to drop your link and mention my name (@NOBLE).
<li><b>DO post valid links to your battles</b></li>
FVC members are here to vote on battles primarily (text, audio, topicals). Cyphers, tracks and other material are secondary and the FVC members may rate them if they so choose. You may post requests for any LB member to check out your tracks and cyphers by posting on their page. FVC forum requests are more for battles.
