This was really awesome. I havent heard a good LB track in a bit. This was great. Swinny is really skillful. Kurse, damn man. And Heavy, your verse was dope but highly inaccurate. You cant carve gold, you can only melt it and pour it into molds and shapes in order for you to achieve the likness you are describing. However, if the gold was near a molten state you could probably hit it with a malet in order to get it to shape near your features but carve? No sir. Just not possible. You can carve wood, chisel stone or melt metal. FYI, you cant melt stone or wood either. Also, Rock beats scissors however scissors beats paper. Rock beats scissors. Posted By: MacG - 2011-06-21

possible but highly unlikely Heavy. You see, yes, you can carve wood but I am affraid when you dipped the carved wood peice into the molten gold that the detailed facial features of the wood would burn off before the gold had a time to cool. What you would get is a smooth, featurless face. Also, any other detail that the artist may have intended to cross over from the carving to the casting process would be unrecognizable and lost. Now, ceramics would definately work for this application, I suggest you find an artist who can make a clay sculpture in your likeness and then cast the finished sculpture in a molten gold bath. Have him flash cool the sculpture in a saline solution bath. Room temperature solution, none of this freezing cold shit I have been hearing about. This is gold my friend, it cracks if it is cooled too quick, costing you some serious coin. After the gold has dried on to the ceramics it is a bitch to remelt and recast. It can be done, its just a bitch and your metalsmith will spend a shit load of time filtering little bits of inpurities out of your gold. Also, will bring down the carrot rating of your end product. And no^^ in re reading your last post you asked "Can you carve stone?". No, you can chissel stone, grind stone but in the litteral sense of carving stone it really doesnt work. You break off the big chuncks of stone with a mallet and chissel and then smooth out the fine details with a finish pick and a small rotary grind tool. Not much carving going on.
