Robby Lewis walked into his humble workplace, ecstatic to see some familiar faces.
Faces that understood him, listened to him, faces that had been put in similar places.
For they were kind to him - not like the people back home who called him a freak.
The people who would make snide comments about him as he walked in the street.
The people who he wanted to be friends with but always cautioned to greet.
For they weren't kind like his co-workers who always showed him true interest.
He could open up to them - they were always willing to spare a few minutes.
Into his mind where monsters were buried deep, they provided a new entrance.

"Hey Phil, good to see you and your wife, Janice, working right next to each other!"
"Oh, Wanda..I heard you're getting laid off..Sorry the company had to restructure!"
"Jimmy, stop complaining about the leak above your cubicle! I realize you need cover!"
"Terry, are the wife and kids coming to visit you again, today? I realize you just got here but..."
"Jessica, you're ex-boyfriend's moved on and found a new girl? Well, if your schedule's cleared up..."
"Oh Billy, remember that joke I told you last week? Hahaha! I bet you think I'm one weird fuck!"

The next week the local newspaper ran an article that mentioned Robby and the people he worked with.
Robby liked his business getting mentioned, but whoever wrote it misunderstood and surely wasn't a wordsmith.
For how the article portrayed him and his co-workers made him want to take up every arm in his arsenal.
This is what was said in that newspaper's article...
"A ghastly discovery has been made at the local cemetery! Graves have been dug up & coffins have been opened.
Robby Lewis, the 28 year old, mentally handicapped groundskeeper is believed responsible for the commotion.
Among the disturbed graves are Mr. and Mrs. Phil Goodman who are buried together.
Others were Wanda Stevens and Jimmy King whose grave was flooded due to the recent poorness of the weather.
Then there was Terry Carmichael who had just been buried in the cemetery a few weeks ago.
The bodies of Jessica Landry and Billy Rooney are also among those who are no longer in their rightful place below."

Robby was so upset - they had portrayed him, his co-workers, and their business like a monstrosity.
He was already mentally impaired, but now frightened, his thinking abilities were completely gone logically.
So Robby grabbed a gun and put it to his head - he pulled the trigger and sealed his fate forever.
But he didn't mind, because now him and his co-workers would always be able to work together.
