Dope battle. Syco, I admired your consistency. Cake, I love how you leave the wordplay there for us to figure out instead of jumping up and down going "see what I did there?" like some do, haha. Pediatrician line was crazy. My winner had a couple lines that fell totally flat, but made up for it by having the vast majority of the hard-hitting ones. fairs in, if any of ya'll wanna battle hit me up. Voted: Sykotiqs /

CakedOut: You had some nice lines, and some i feel weren't really needed...Your best punches maybe could've had another layer to them to make them really pop, but def was a couple i really liked. Syco_Delic: You did a better job with the setups/punches, but some i felt weren't all that, but were a couple that hit hard. One was surprisingly off in some key categories tbh.. felt like he had some reaches n some unexecuted concepts that made his verse rlly unimpactful in places. Some of his punches were aight but all in all no real haymakers were delivered even. my winner got this with a more rapid punch writing structure with good multi usage and fresh clean jabs stringed together nicely. no hate gb fairly close one just had 2 many loose ends. This was a GREAT BATTLE.... really enjoyed the read, so props to both. Definitely a close toss up here. I feel you two took opposite approaches, and both had fairly solid schemes as far as multi use and flow, etc. Yet, I feel one was quick witted with shorter lines bolstered by good wordplay, but really could have been strengthened with stronger setups for certain punches. On the other hand, the opponent had a bit longer setups that fell short at least for one punch due to the internal phrasing being just a bit too long before the next multi. Some multis were broken on both sides as they were a bit slanted, but I'm not hating cuz I slant rhyme constantly... esp in audio. This is actually very hard to vote on, because in a technical way it is very balanced when it comes to the various categories of setups & punches, multis, flow, (scheming), wordplay, even vocab (weakest category for both, but it usually is for most battles... so no hate their as well). I'm thinking one's wordplay was a bit risky as most of the wordplay is played out although was very well executed compared to others who have used it in the past (most likely including myself), yet the opponent had more filler despite the stronger set ups... grrrr... this really is very hard to vote on as both had some spot on lines, and both had ones that fell short.... One outshined in a metaphorical aspect and his wordplay was top-notch with a few brilliance shown in his drop. The negatives for him was some forced wordplay and indirectness. The other had that silky smooth flow and some punches that made me think "oooo" cuz they really hit hard to me due to how they was setup. Only thing though is some lines took a while to get to the punch which kinda effected the flow a little bit. My choice goes to the one who was more consistent here. All in all, though, DOPE BATTLE!!!
