They say you aren't supposed to explain jokes, but just in case: The Ernest Byner line refers to him committing a game-losing fumble against the Broncos. The Xenforo line refers to the Xenforo software package for running internet forums. Comment Only

Nice battle here fellas. Felt one had a bit of filler going on but a smooth flow and some nice punches. The other took this w/ better set ups though that always related to the final punch. Fairs in close one Voted: Shodan / Babylon

Fuller breakdown. Ny: I really do feel your scheme-work a lot of the time, all though at certain points you stray into awkward zone - TEC FOR? TO / WESTBORO: Just one example, in natural speech it really doesn't work and is difficult coming off of the tongue. Just make sure you read it back before typing it down. As far as concepts and punchlines, I see you're getting the gist of conversions. Drone Strikes wasn't exactly a full flip but the multi-work was still impressive. Closer is the caliber of concept you should be honing. Overall, solid structure, complex yet risky scheme-work and a few decent attempts at punchlines. Cry: I can sum up your verse very easily. High points: CRITICAL CONDITION scheme & punchline/HOLY NATIONS punchline. Low points: pro Test/Protest ... see's ur/Seizure ... Air o's/Arrows ... "Point" referencing an arrow/sharp edge (overplayed) ... And by the closer, I felt you had overused the involvement of "shun" within a wordplay as it comes across as a cop-out. With that being said, for the most part your set-ups were relevant. Scheme-work closer to the middle starting picking up momentum, I really wanted to see you hold that CRITICAL CONDITION scheme for a longer period: It's a dope scheme. Overall, it was an alright verse. I would personally abolish the half-baked wordplays (protest/caption/sei zure) and stick with the more complex ones and then hone that style. Punch impact was there also, just a few slip-ups in between the lines. One was a lot more established conceptually and carried over more punch impact alongside slightly better schemework. If the other had managed to hold relevant set-ups and display a better rate of punch conversion then this could have been closer. Vitty's vote's in. Voted: Shodan / Babylon

Nerrson-

Tbh.. Nyar, your scheme work at times was insane, but you trying to hard at points made it choppy & broken.. and sometimes just not make any sense whatsoever..which is bad for your punchlines. Crysis came with good consistency.. although some concepts weren't fully there, the punches were good and multis on point. Fair is there. Voted: Shodan / Babylon
