overall close battle..jimmy did have a nice start to his verse, i felt the u.s gov line probably wouldve came across better as a audio though..i also was digging the pirate line as well..lock had a cool jumpoff rebuttal, the link to the past and twilight line was the best in his verse..FLY VOTE CLUB Comment Only

Felt both started off slowly, the long division and jackson concepts pretty lame. But both picked it up after that. Jimmys pirate bar, toy doll & family tree lines was snappin. I gotta state that I generally liked it. If I had one major complaint I would have liked to see some more flow.Both of you guys did a lot of switching up your rhyme scheme, which absolutely kills the flow of the verse. JimmyDean, I thought you had the best overall line in the battle talking about pirate shirts, but you also had several played out lines. Yes, talking about the government shutdown is already played out. At times I didn't like your wording either, when you switch up a rhyme scheme you end up with a lot of awkward sounding shit, and this is no different. Lockhart you had a better worded verse, but yo I didn't love any of your punches. I guess that your last few lines about zelda were pretty decent, but not really that hard hitting. I'd say you were more consistent and didn't do anything stupid or undreadable, but a lot of shit I wasn't wowed by. I'll give it to you for a more readable verse, more consistency and generally finishing out strong. Uh, fair vote Comment Only

Jimmy that was a really nice opener. i loved it. you got a bit shaky in the middle but other than that it was a solid verse yo. and lock you didnt back off with yours either. I just liked one more than the other. Fair is in, even though it was a really close battle. Comment Only
