Shawty u had this battle, but ur wordin fuked u ROYALY Princess. start readin over tha shiiii u text aloud befor postin... ur wasting ur skills by jus comin up w/ ideas n not executing them to tha most perfect form. Dave, u lacked in any real power in pun or concept wise but u atleast made sense in ur build-ups also ur wordin made for a smoother read..... If yall dont want me to vote just lemme know n ill get admin to erase it..I feel like both forced the hell out their lines. Every punch sounded super awkward and unnatural. I mean ill tip my hat to the wordplay attempts..its just as i read each bar i was hoping it would be something dope at the end n it just wasnt want i thought. the punches we're pretty average but the concepts where pretty cool tho so i'll give props for that. With that said both been around here long enough to know the do's/dont's so im sure ya'll both are just rusty or overthought the battle bc i know yall do have "beef". Both seems to have the comical approach which suits their personalities. I think this need's a best 2 outta 3 bc this is not yall best work at all man. tana's flow was killer tho i gotta admit that. fav lines? its more like fav build-ups..like i said yall had the comical thing goin dave's build up bout tana butt stinkin had me DYINNN..n tana'sbuild up with da spandex had me dead also..there was way to much homo lines tho. i saw the word dick n shit one too many in this battle man...anyways 100 vote. Dave: i feel your execution would be a little stronger if your set-ups were better... Like the FINGER PRINTS line had CSI for a setup which is weak.. Try thinking a little more and instead of saying CSI find something else that relates to FINGER PRINTS and make sure it hits your opponent hard.. I felt your concepts were ok but could be a bit fresher just work on your set-ups.. Tana: Your concepts were ok but your wording needs to be perfect.. The smallest error will throw your verse off to many.. I wasnt really feeling the wordplay from you mainly cuz they aint hit hard and you said "Unyqe picking/u nic picking" but that doesnt really sound too close and also i believe your talking about nitpicking which makes it even worse.. Ok never read neither of your shit before and damn props to the girl man one of the nicest girls I dun read but fuck sex in this it comes down to punches flow personals multis and name plays for me so with that said ........ DAVE ya verse was hitting fam loved the Kate Middleton line liked the bowser line but then I just felt you was lacking creativity you just went after the fact she was a girl ... Finisher did make me laugh tho ..... Prince ya shit was nice but you lost me towards the end I read your expo as well felt you got a bit to personal with it opener was fresh ..... GB, Dave, your opener was hilarious it was straight to the point and it worked IMO, the following line though was fire the setup was smoothly set up into that PRINCESS RING punch which i thought was dope n hilarious too. Followed by an ok concept (the MARIO LINE) the comedic approach to the punches keeps anyone/everyone laughing which i feel gives the punch more credibility IMO. A few fillers in there that could have made the drop more smoother, the concepts were dope, your multis were cool but some felt forced throughout when you read it back but your flow was smooth which helped disguise the syllable count. Your flow had a tiny bit of cold spots, again your punches were really comedic which was completely dope and personally i think the best punches are the funny ones, more wordplay in the later half of your drop could have really turned your drop into something special also some more intricate set ups could have too. Your closer could have been set up more better for a better finish. Overall a really comedic approach but it pays off.Solid Drop. PS your opener had a dope concept but the multi were a bit off. Some of the syllables in your drop needs to be polished but the flow of the drop disguised them which is proberly why the drop seemed too be smooth but when you backtrack you'll find out some words didn't really sound alike leading to the fact that a few lines were forced. The concepts were hot, the punches were fire but the set ups and structure really hurt your drop, your closer was a closer game changer but that wordplay sucked some of it power for me, my fav line from you though is that TEXT CAREER line which was dope. Your vocab was ok but some words were heavily repetitive in this one. Your set ups were dope but the structure was quite iffy at times, also wordplay could have really created wonders for your drop but the attempts were hitting for me. Overall a heavy potential drop.
