This was a crack battle no doubt, and one I struggled to make up my mind on. On one hand there's Diss; some nice as hell concepts but there's always a few WP's or nameflips that seem like a stretch to me. Wording is something you need to work on son, your haymakers lose impact when it's off. Although I felt your punches were better, Phro was butter here. this was a dope battle real shit. phrox stay on one scheme the whole time and it was pretty amazing. Diss came wit fire wordplay. i had a winner here until i seeing a "feeding" line that left a sour taste in my mouth. one of the dudes fed off the other verse which took away the win for him imo. w/o that, my vote would have went the other way. good battle tho fellas. Both brought some nice shit here but i feel my choice brought more punches and thats what it came down to.. One had flow the other had punches and both were equal in just about every other aspect.. Clash of styles here. Felt one had the more impressive conceptual approach, while the other was more polished and effective as an overall piece. This is going to be a close one down to personal preferences i think. Both were a bit inconsistant with some duds apiece, but i liked Diss's paper plane bar and Phro's closer was tight. DISS-this was a pretty good battle.. YA came with consistent concept to flips per bar, a few were worded awkward, or felt forced imo, EX. rush in thoughts red.vladimir shrink assists.. doesnt read like natural sentence. centipede line = arms , heard that analogy many times.. ya best concept was probably the classclown tendencies, although the setup wasnt worded too wellPHRO- definately took flow, alot of dope filler imo, but lacked as far as amount of punches thrown..and when they did land, it was a hit and miss .. setups were nice tho, and your best bar was probably your closer ..wit the cavemen.. shii both had their share of mishaps, so i went wit the all around more polished verse.. fairs in.. Great read and damn close battle.My winner here seemed to have punches that indefinitely just flowed together by having a consistent flow that I could literally read with ease and imagine hearing in real time. The other had great punches that were all pretty consistent in their potency but I thought both were pretty even here in most categories so it came down to presentation for me. WOW, WOW. Okay, I do want to say I bet my life that some of .. one guy's verse.. trying not to sway here.. went over EVERYone's heads. He didn't put quotations around certain things, he had clever, clever wordplay and punches and didn't bother to decorate or pretty up his verse as much.
