Yea man most def. Funny but I am the same exact way. I turn down no challenges and never shy away from dropping opens. I snipe every now and then to get easy wins but I would rather be the one calling emcees out, ya know? I'm voting for Steve because he's from Bristol. (PISTOL CITY). Na seriously though, this battle pleasantly surprised me. One had a verse strong verse, good punches and concepts, but lost gas half way through and used a lot of filler. The other was obviously written by a very new member, not bad but needs to seriously work on structure, and execution of concepts, and also needs to vary his material and try and build up his verse using other battle techniques because right now all it does it rhyme, with a slight comical edge. Good Battle...One verse kinda slowed down as the barz went on!!!! But had punches, sub-par set-ups, and the delivery for the most part was decent...The otha verse I understood but needs better structure...Had ah few okay concepts but lacked delivery and ah few creative points...But Decent verse overall...ALways dropping Fairs!!! Zoophagus Zedikiah, at the beginning of your verse you were channeling 3 different schemes, but I felt you could have used a more rigid syllable placement to help the flow. I think your flow actually improved in the latter parts of your verse where you used less internal rhyme schemes and longer mutlies. The wording was choppy in certain areas. There were no outstanding punches, and the schemes also could have matched up better in certain areas. Overall, the thing you did best was on the flow and multies imo. stevevenom, I felt you focused on the "Jewish" angle too much. It might have been good if you mustered one or two good punches out of it, but by the end of your verse, it had become redundant. You also exhibited some of the same flaws in your verse as Zedikiah...mis-match ed multies, and using internals with sub-par syllable placement. I didn't see any outstanding punches in your verse either. Overall, I'd like to see both improve their punch game. The winner here simply had more hits to me. Keep elevating fellas. Fair is tossed.
