dope battle to both, BLACK- i felt you came wit some nice concepts , the only problem i had wit yours was at times when you tried to integrate the wordplay, it made the lines read awkward, in essence alot of the wordplay felt forced imo.. an example would be the wind stunned and ill, clever concept but wasnt worded well... and the church russin didnt relate well wit stallin gracefully... yeah it does match wit the names but as a sentence, how do you stall in gracefully, if your rushing to church? my advice is keep utilizing the wordplay, but think about how to integrate it in a sentence where it will read correctly when interpreted as both entrendes/meanings.. it will hit harder.. STREETS- your wordplay wasnt as complex as blacks but because of the wording it felt a bit more polished and easier to follow, multis on point, concepts for the most part landed, setups was decent too.. good ish, my winner made his concepts work better and cleaner imo.. fairs in.. CONCEALED VOTE... My choice brought a nice flow and had some decent set-ups with good execution... His multies were also good and he brought some ok concepts that could have been better.... His opponent brought some nice concepts but didn't really word his shit all that good and also some of his wordplay seemed a little forced... Votes based off of consistency... i thought this was pretty 1 sided, the winner was a class above. i think the loser tried to be clever with the concepts but really didnt pull them off. i think u shud concentrate more on getting the basics of text battling on point before u move onto throwin in these kinda concepts - e.g. keepin ur multi counts the same and developing stronger punches. its evident u have the ideas, but u need to bring them out in a more effective way. the winner dropped quite a consistent verse, nice ideas leadin to decent punches with some humor dropped in too.
