Theres a couple of factors here that confirmed my vote, 1- Multie count 2- content and ideas 3- Swag 4- flow into his punches and 5- a few quotables the Jack sparrow line and the Brady bunch line was fire. I respect both emcees but 1 took it and im hoping his bars dont get Noobed on or buddied and with the amount of list killers an haters on here 1 verse was an example of just an all around solid jot. Matt; really basic, quite forced, attempt at creativity which won you some points. Structure needs works and you're concepts could be improved. You have potential, but you first need to understand your tier. You're low tier at the moment and won't improve if you think you're better than you are. Work on your structure and your concepts, you have a good foundation at the moment but need to build on it and add more battle techniques before you're breaking the 6/7 rating. I suggest keeping up your rhyme scheme for longer, then gradually add more syllables and work them in to a punch. Olde; your verse impressed me but it was quite played in places, I saw some signs of originality but that needs to come through a lot more to make your material seem fresh. Played opener but dope finisher. Stuff in between was good, a lot of potential. Nice schemes but a bit stretched, try and add more punches to your verse for more impact.
