This was a pretty solid battle, but both had a few set-ups and concepts that couldve been worded a bit better for a smoother/harder hitting delivery. That being said, I felt ones opener was a bit better, with a more personal attack, while the others opening bar, despite some pretty good nameplay & more complicated multi's, was mostly just well-worded self glorification.. The second & third punches from both were pretty stretched out, but one had a much better set-up & delivery on their third, which made the line far more effective with a stronger impact. The best bar in the battle from one however, was the finisher & it almost won him my vote here. His multi's were way smoother with much better punchline execution & a pretty decent concept, while the final bar from the other was the weakest part of theirs, with the first few syllables in the multi-scheme not fitting. The 'aquire/a choir' play in the set-up was solid, but the punchline was poorly worded and that definitely took away from the impact of the bar.... Everything accounted for, I felt ones punches & concepts were worded and executed a bit better, with smoother less stretched set-ups and some pretty solid wordplay. The losers drop had tighter multis and some better namplay, but a few of the concepts were too stretched out to have a serious impact here. Fairs in Voted: NelSyn / AfterThought

Nelsyn: i think the opening punch's wording was a bit off. 'move past thought'? its a lil vague.. ur saying move past thought.. but u didnt specify how widows move past the thought OF THEIR LOVED ONES. u just said move past thought. thats my opinion anyway. next punch was maad basic. c'mon now. the next punch was simple but ite. 'loves cocks stupid' sounds a lil awkward imo. the closer was just too simple. c'mon now. Thought: that punch's build was a bit too long winded for an 8 liner. cool punch tho. the next punch was ick imo. the wording.. you said "after i silence sir" then you said "you". first you were talkin to the reader then the opponent. u switched all of a sudden. doin that makes the wording kinda "wah?" sounding get me? over all the wp was meh and it didnt hit to me. the closer was cool. not super creative but ite. fv. this was pretty onesided imo , one was kinda lackin on structure which led to the punches landin soft , the other had some stronger concepts w/ better landed punches fair vote as always Voted: NelSyn / AfterThought
