May: Opening bar was sick as fuck..the 'hanging around lobbys' concepts was dope, and delivered well! G-spot one mad me lol..nice nice. "Space" "Age" "Classic" concept was dope man! Night Time, Rule punch was kinda long gettin to it, but dope never the less. Endign was creative as fuck and dope... Structure through out was solid, and flow'd smoothly.. Some heavy /concepte/punches in there.. RULE: Opening line was a dope concept..Nice flip too.. "Top of the Mourning" Punch was creative and sick as fuck man! lol haha... "Shot up Quick" was short n sweet, nice punch there. "Stringing along this nut" Now that was a dope concept specially for a set up/build up to the "Brush with Great Ness" Punch that was none other than Dope!! "Soul Tanned" was a good punch. The whole piece on the Tourney ish, was dope!! "Humans in FLight" punch was nice and creative! "Roulette" Concept was sick, and nicely delivered! Best battle I've read in hot one.... One's opener hit harder to me and had flow like fucking crazy. Stayed consistent and had some ko bars for sure. One of the hardest decisions I've made. I'm not gonna do a breakdown analysis expo of each verse but down to a tee; I have these reasons in mind for my decision. One was on top with the wordplay throughout and had some crack haymakers in there. I felt as if this emphasis on wordplay took away from the metaphores and punches, but only very slightly. This person still covered all aspects of technique, it's just I felt, although it was all dope, the wordplay took over at one point and they could've been some more into the other aspects. The other I felt started stronger and remained consistent with the punchlines throughout; I felt they concentrated moreso on punchlines and comic effect which gave their verse the impression of being more polished. Both had one or two miss-lines, the wording was slightly off for them, but they still worked as concepts. I'm voting for metaphorical concepts over wordplay concepts here; I felt the metaphores enhanced the winner's punches moreso. Always voting fair. Fire battle; tossing dimes. Voted: Mayneak / Revan
