Nix: opener.. using the 'red riding hood' line for that nameplay was pretty creative, dope line, way to start the battle... next bar was meh, got the nameplay n 'bugging' tick part but i wasn't feelin it as much as that opening nameplay... next bar that 'stuck in the mud' line was pretty dope, haha another grandma's play, this was actually had me laughing tho, its da truth, gran's food actually some good shit tho... wasnt feelin the 'will to beat me line'.. this grandma' play wasn't as nearly as good as the other 2, and it should have been being that its the closer, but it was still a nice lil play, just nothing real hard.... Granitik: haha ya opener had me laughing, that was good nameplay.. and all this stuff is fresh now since he hasn't battled much with his new name... wasn't really feeling the 'nix/nicks' on a block line, i got the concept n it was ok nameplay but it just wasn't hitting hard... haha i liked that 'drag da strip' line, pretty complex there... closer was alright, ive seen that wordplay on his name done before tho, also it took a lil while to build up to your closer, this was a nice lil battle tho.. both came out swinging, and both had some nice punches, just one had a couple extra swings in his verse... aight nix sicc opener dude lovin tha lil red riding hood line, stuck in tha mud line was pretty dope 2, the cooked up line was real ill that had me chucklin. granitik changing his name line wernt bad (dunno if it was a personal if so it was sicc), tha catch ma drift line was pretty dope wit the setup n wordin, da strip line was sicco 2. all in all a dope battle from both emcee but ones gotta win...so ima read it again lol. good battle nix strong start liked tha creativity of tha red riding hood shit multies an punches on point as usual hot verse for lightwork, only bit i didnt really feel was like flow said was bar afta open it was aight jus not as hot as rest all in all good bars gran, great opener 4 real, but kinda dropped off after felt that the opener made the rest a bit underwhelming still had sumnice punches i felt ya closer culda ave bin a bit stronger all in all a nice battle from both i jus felt one was a lil mo creative and hit harder respect ta both Voted: Granitik /
